Our Story
Trusted registration and agency before the Nigerian regulator
Allando Nominees Limited was incorporated in 2019 by the partners of Allan & Ogunkeye Legal Practitioners — a law firm established in 1982 as a general practice, now specialised in Intellectual Property Law.
Our objective is to undertake the registration, with the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), of products that are statutorily and compulsorily registrable with the agency — for manufacturers both within and outside Nigeria.
For manufacturers based outside Nigeria, we offer an additional service: acting as their Nigeria-based registration agent under a power of attorney. In that role we apply for the registration of their products, hold the certificate of registration on their behalf (issued in the name of Allando Nominees as applicant), and accept regulatory responsibility for those products in the Nigerian market.

Independent & Neutral
No commercial interest in the importation or sale of the products we register — only a fiduciary duty to the manufacturer.
What We Do
A complete regulatory mandate, held in trust for the manufacturer
NAFDAC Product Registration
We apply for the registration of products that are statutorily compulsorily registrable with NAFDAC, managing the full application lifecycle on your behalf.
Certificate Custody
The certificate of registration is issued in the name of Allando Nominees as applicant. We hold it on your behalf, securely and at your direction.
Regulatory Responsibility
We accept, on behalf of foreign manufacturers, the regulatory responsibility for registered products in the Nigerian market — a statutory requirement.
Foreign Manufacturer Agency
Acting under a power of attorney, we serve as your Nigeria-based registration agent — satisfying NAFDAC's requirement that the responsible entity be within its jurisdiction.
Why Allando
The difference between an agent and a partner with leverage
NAFDAC requires applicants to be companies incorporated and carrying on business in Nigeria — so the entity responsible for a registered product sits within the agency's enforcement reach. Foreign manufacturers may appoint a Nigeria-based company as their registration agent under a power of attorney.
A manufacturer may appoint its current commercial partner as agent — but that carries a real risk. The certificate can be held hostage if the relationship ends, and NAFDAC's consent requirement for substitution can be exploited.
No hostage risk
When a commercial partner holds your registration, the certificate can be held hostage if the relationship breaks down. A neutral agent removes that leverage entirely.
Change partners freely
A change in your Nigerian commercial relationships does not require applying to NAFDAC to change the registration agent — because the agent has no commercial interest.
Consent without coercion
NAFDAC requires the current agent's consent before substitution. That consent may not be forthcoming unless unreasonable demands are met. With Allando, it is never an issue.
The Registration Process
How a product reaches the Nigerian market through Allando
NAFDAC requires applicants for product registration to be companies incorporated and carrying on business in Nigeria. Manufacturers based outside Nigeria appoint a Nigeria-based company as their registration agent under a power of attorney.
Power of Attorney
The foreign manufacturer appoints Allando Nominees as its Nigeria-based registration agent under a power of attorney, satisfying NAFDAC's requirement that the responsible entity be within its jurisdiction.
Application & Documentation
We prepare and submit the application for registration of the product, assembling all statutory documentation NAFDAC requires — with the manufacturer's name noted on the record as the maker.
Certificate Issued to Allando
The certificate of registration is issued in the name of Allando Nominees as applicant. We hold it on the manufacturer's behalf, in trust and at their direction.
Regulatory Responsibility
Allando assumes regulatory responsibility for the registered product in the Nigerian market on behalf of the manufacturer — the statutory obligation NAFDAC requires of the applicant.
Note: The manufacturer's name also appears on the registration record and is noted as the manufacturer. The certificate bears Allando Nominees as the applicant, while regulatory responsibility for the registered product vests in Allando on the manufacturer's behalf.
