Allando Nominees Limited is a Nigerian company that undertakes the registration of products with the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) — for manufacturers both within and outside Nigeria. We handle the full range of products that are statutorily and compulsorily registrable with the agency, including food, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices, and herbal products, managing the application process on the manufacturer's behalf.

For manufacturers based outside Nigeria, we offer an additional service: acting as their Nigeria-based registration agent under a power of attorney. NAFDAC requires that every applicant for product registration be a company incorporated and carrying on business in Nigeria, so that the entity responsible for a registered product sits within the agency's enforcement reach. Foreign manufacturers satisfy this requirement by appointing a Nigeria-based company as their registration agent. In that role we apply for the registration, hold the certificate of registration in our name as applicant, and accept regulatory responsibility for the product in the Nigerian market — as a neutral, independent party whose only interest is a fiduciary duty to the manufacturer, with no commercial stake in the importation or sale of the products we register.

Allando Nominees Limited was incorporated in 2019 by the partners of Allan & Ogunkeye Legal Practitioners — a law firm established in 1982 as a general practice and now specialised in Intellectual Property Law. The firm's decades of legal and regulatory expertise inform the stewardship of every registration we handle. Where we act as agent for a foreign manufacturer, keeping that agent independent of any commercial partner protects the manufacturer from the risk of a certificate being held hostage if a commercial relationship breaks down, and ensures the manufacturer remains free to change distributors and partners in Nigeria without disruption to their regulatory standing.
